Background
Hamurwa Community in Kabale, Uganda is one of the local-level information system (LIIS) pilot areas. LIIS is operating in Kabale district in Hamurwa sub-county. The parishes under LIIS are:
  • Mpungu (16 villages),
  • Shebeya (14 villages),
  • Ruhonwa (10 villages),
  • Kakore (10 villages),
  • Igomanda (14 villages) and
  • Hamurwa (8 villages)
There are 72 villages in the entire sub-county
