A2N is a non governmental organisation whose mission is to alleviate poverty by supporting smallholder farmer groups who undertake initiatives geared towards livelihood improvement and natural resources regeneration and conservation.

A2N-Uganda has been operating since 1990 by working with smallholder farmers and implements a number of on-going projects through donor support and collaboration with partner organisations.

Capacity 2015 is a global partnership mechanism assisting countries to develop the capacity of their professionals, institutions, and systems to formulate and implement strategies for sustainable development to achieve local, national and international development goals. It will work with developing and transitional countries to build and develop their capacity for sustainable development based on proven successes.

CARE is an NGO that supports communities to identify and address the underlying causes of poverty and social injustice. In partnership with Africa 2000 Network-Uganda, and with support from Austrian Development Agency, CARE is supporting communities in 8 sub counties of south western Uganda (Hamurwa, Rwamucucu, Bukinda, Maziba, Rutenga, Kirima, Kayonza and Kanungu Town Council), to alleviate poverty through the commercialisation of passion fruit production in the region.

Kigezi private sector promotion center


Kigezi is a private limited company that is aimed at providing quality, reliable products and services and necessary skills to stimulate entrepreneurship development through the promotion of micro, small and medium enterprises and micro finance institutions on a sustainable basis.

KIHEFO


A community based organisation that is aimed at creating awareness on the dangers of HIV/AIDS and provides counseling services to communities. It also provides reproductive health services. It works in collaboration with A2N to reach out to communities.

Nature Uganda is an international NGO which supports communities to improve their livelihoods through activities that support conservation of the forest biodiversity. The project aims at empowering communities to demand further rights to benefit from forest resources and other programmes.
